Transfers of Record in Copy Cataloging of Publications in Western Languages: ——from Non-printed Items to Printed Ones and from Multi-volume Books to Individual Ones

文章举例说明在印刷型图书的套录编目中,如何对与所编文献不完全一致的源记录的数据进行两种类型的转换。即1.由电子型、缩微型等非印刷型记录到印刷型图书的载体形式的转换。2.多卷书由集中著录到分散著录的著录方式的转换。

This paper illustrates, with examples,two categories of cataloging data in copy cataloging of printed books in western languages. One deals with transferring record of electronic, microform or other non-printed items to that of printed publications. The other deals with transferring record of multi-volume books to that of individual books.
