The paper presents a snow forecastingexpert system ZDX in the area of meteorolo-gy.ZDX is in structured module form.Theknowledge is expressed in the form of ruleand frame,the knowledge base is managedin the principles:differentiating and stor-ing by classifications,dispatching accordingto needs,and unified managing.The infere-nce engine utilzes forward hierarchicaluncertain reasoning,possesses inducing andlearning capabilities.
