20世纪50年代的学报与数学研究

The journal published in the 50s of the last century andmathematics researches

通过对1957至1959年间《西北大学学报》(自然科学版)所载论文的研究,理清了20世纪50年代西北大学数学研究的基本线索。认为杨永芳的点集拓扑研究、刘亦珩的微分几何研究、刘书琴的复变函数研究,代表了50年代西北大学数学最主要的研究方向,并认为这些成就代表了整个西北地区数学研究的水平,而《西北大学学报》亦成为当时西北地区最高的学术论坛之一。

Through a survey of scientific papers published by the Journal of Northwest University (natural science edition) from 1957 to 1959,a fundamental clue related to academic research was brought to light. It was found that the researches on point set topology by prof. YANG Yong-fang 5 differential geometry by Prof. LIU Yi-hang and complex variable function by Prof. LIU Shu-qin represented the main achievements made by the above scholars in the study of mathematics,and also represented the highest level of the subject in the northwestern area of the country,and therefore the Journal of Northwest University may be regarded as the highest academic forum in Northwest China.
