极限问题是可持续发展研究中的重点问题,是可持续发展观思考一切生态环境问题的基本背景和理论框架。本文的基本观点是:生态环境的极限问题具有现实性和客观性;生态环境问题的本质是人类活动及其影响超出生态能力或环境承受能力的极限问题;人类必须对自身的行为活动进行限制,人类挑战自然的极限就是走向自我毁灭。
