“Ze Ju” and “Zuo Ju”

“则剧”很容易让人联想到戏剧 ,事实上 ,“则剧”也每每与娱乐相关 ,虽然如此 ,“则剧”与杂剧仍然有本质的差别。“则剧”的基本义项是 :戏耍、戏具、戏术等 ,这些义项皆源导于“则剧”最初的含义 :作剧。“则”即“作” ;“剧”

Ze Ju” easily reminds one of drama. While it is indeed related with entertainment, “Ze Ju”is essentially different with drama meaning “Za Ju”. The basic meaning of “Ze Ju” implies playing, props, drama skills, etc.,all of which have derived from the primary meaning of “Ze Ju” that equals “Zuo Ju”. ‘Ze’ originally refers to ‘Zuo' and ‘Ju' to playing.
