It is imperative to carry out a reform in applied writing in ethnic universities and colleges due to the reality of applied writing and the needs of talented personnel in ethnic minority regions.In teaching applied writing,teachers should attach importance to improving students'writing ability;conduct the teaching of writing with the help of reading;use modern teaching approaches to make teaching effective and to ensure study for the purpose of application.
