Enhancing Foundation, Broadening Specialty Optimizing Curriculum Provision in Automation

阐述了自动化专业课程设置的指导思想 ,课程设置要体现“通识教育”的思想以及体现厚基础、重实践、拓宽专业的思想 ;介绍了清华大学自动化专业在信息学院平台基础上的课程体系结构及课程设置 ;讨论了作为研究型大学的教学模式与理念 ,指出研究型大学十分强调以探索和研究为基础的教学 ,本科教育与研究生培养的结合 。

Explained in this paper is the guideline of the curriculum provision for the specialty of automation, by which the curriculum provision should embody the principle of 'general education', and the principle of 'enhancing the foundation, emphasizing the practice and broadening the specialty'. The curriculum system structure and the curriculum provision of the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, which are based on the curriculum platform of the all Scholl of Information, are introduced. The teaching mode and the concept of research universities are discussed, in which it is expounded that a research university emphasizes the exploration based and research based teaching, the combination of undergraduate and graduate education, and the interdisciplinary research.
