是《大学语文》还是《汉语言文化读本》?——从《大学语文》的合理定位说起

摘要 探讨《大学语文》课程与教材的定位问题,应超越一般中文学者原有的思维定势,直接着眼于自然科学与人文科学的互渗互动,直接着眼于人文科学系统中各门具体学科之间的互渗互动,直接着眼于21世纪中国高等学校非中文专业学生的实际需要。在有限的课时内,与其为非中文专业学生讲授中文专业的语言文字知识或语言文学知识,还不如为他们讲授汉语言文化的基本知识,拓展他们的汉语言文化的学术眼光;对于这门公共课程及其教材,与其定名为《大学语文》,还不如名之曰:《汉语言文化读本》。 In discussing the course and the teaching material of College Chinese, one should detach oneself from the former set thinking model of an ordinary Chinese scholar and directly have one' s eyes on the interpenetration and the mutual movement between natural science and the humanities, and between the specific subjects in the system of human studies, and on the practical needs of the non-Chinese specialty students at higher schools. It would be better to teach, within the specified teaching hours, the ABC of Chinese language and culture so as to broaden their academical vision rather than teach them the knowlege of language and words of Chinese specialty or about language and literature. As for the name of this com-mon reguired course, Reader of Chinese Language & Literature would be better than College Chinese.
