Fostering the Acquisition of Spoken English for the College Students of Non-English Major

外语学习过程和母语习得过程一样,都应从口语,即从说开始。因为听说是人类交际活动中最为生动、活跃和完美的一种形式。听说能力与读写能力是相辅相成、不可分割、并起着互相促进作用的。培养听和说的口语技能,是高校非英语专业学生的英语口语技能的发展途径与教学途径。

There are many similar points between the processes of learning a foreign language and the acquisition of mother tongue. One of them is that spoken language must be learned first. This is because listening and speaking is the most lively, active and perfect form in human being's communication and the ability of listening and speaking and the ability of reading and writing supple each other and promote each other. The current paper is to concentrate on how to foster the acquisition of spoken English for the college students of non-English major.
