摘要
性别歧视是一种历史文化现象,它渗透在社会生活的各个方面。该文拟从社会语言 学的视角,对英汉两种语言在称谓、俗语、词汇等方面所表现出来的性别歧视现象作一探讨。
Sexual discrimination, which penetrates all aspects of social life, is a phenomenon of history and culture. The present article attempts to make a tentative study of sexism in English and Chinese from the sociolinguistic perspective in terms of appellations, common sayings and vocabulary.
