论毛泽东和平解放台湾的战略

MAO Zedongs Strategy of peaceful liberation of Taiwan

毛泽东坚持了一个中国原则,在解放初期坚决反对美国制造的两个中国图谋,随着形势的变化又敦促美国政府与中国政府谈判,为和平解放台湾创造有利的外部环境,并向台湾当局展现和平解放台湾的诚意。毛泽东和平解放台湾的战略对推进祖国统一产生了积极而深远的影响;争取了部分寓居海外的国民党要员返回了祖国大陆,也为邓小平提出“和平统一、一国两制”方针奠定了基础。

Mao Zedong upheld the principle of one China. After the founding of Peoples Republic of China, he was strongly against the two China attempt initiated by U.S. and, later, created favorable surrounding for peaceful liberation of Taiwan by facilitating the talks between China and America. Meanwhile, he showed his sincerity of peaceful liberation of Taiwan to authorities in Taiwan. His strategy of peaceful liberation of Taiwan have great impact on reunification of China in that his policy won over some of the leading members of KMT living abroad, and laid a solid foundation of the policy of peaceful reunification, and one country, two systems proposed by DENG Xiaopin.
