脑膜瘤MMP-9表达及其临床病理学意义

Study on expression of MMP-9 in meningiomas and its relationship to clinicopathology

目的 :研究脑膜瘤中MMP 9的表达和临床病理学意义。方法 :应用免疫组织化学SP法检测 5 2例脑膜瘤组织中MMP 9表达情况 ,并结合临床病理参数进行综合分析。结果 :MMP 9的表达和脑膜瘤病理分级、侵袭行为、瘤周水肿显著相关 (P <0 0 5 ) ,而和患者病情分级、肿瘤切除范围、肿瘤分型、肿瘤部位、肿瘤形状、大小无关 (P >0 0 5 )。结论 :MMP 9在肿瘤恶性转化和浸润、瘤周水肿等方面起着重要作用。检测脑膜瘤MMP 9的表达对了解脑膜瘤生物学行为和判断预后有重要价值。

Objective: To investigate the expression and clinicopathologic significance of MMP-9 in meningiomas.Methods: Expression of MMP-9 in 52 cases of meningiomas were detected by immunohistochemistry SP method. The clinical pathological parameters were analyzed at the same time.Results: The expression of MMP-9 positively correlated with pathological grade, aggressive behavior and peritumoral edema(P<0.05),but their relation to the patient's condition, the resection grade(Simpson), histological variation, tumor location, size, and border shape(P>0.05).Conclusion: In meningiomas, MMP-9 may play an important role during malignancy conversion, and invasion and peritumoral edema. Dection expression of MMP-9 may be of value in understanding the biological behavior and predicting the prognosis of meningiomas.
