Through brief description of the concept of digital library and Chin ese Digital Library Project, and through the analysis on the contents and featur es of the service provided by the digital library and the obstructions encounter ed in the developing course of the digital library, this paper expounds that the digitalization of the library is an inevitable trend of the development of the library.
