摘要
学业成就是农村留守儿童问题中的兴奋点。大多研究认为父母的社会经济地位对于子女学业成就具有正向作用。然而,这不能回答为什么同为农村留守儿童家庭,其学业成就却反差极大。文章以父母教育期望为中介变项,选取两个家庭作微观个案对比研究,考察影响学业成就的教育期望差异及其维度。研究结果表明,同为低社会经济地位家庭既可能导致子女不良的学业成就,也可能带来良好的学业成就。父母的教育期望对于子女学业成长具有积极作用。同为低社会经济地位家庭也可以通过自身努力为子女带来较丰富的社会资本和文化资本。当然,父母的教育期望除了外在的工具性目的外,还应加强内在价值的关注。
The question of academic achievements is a hot topic in the rural left-behind children's studies.Most researches hold that parents' social economic status has a positive effect on children's academic achievements. However, this doesn't answer the harder question: Why some students have the same family background,but their academic achievement are greatly different. In this study takes the parents ' educational expectation as an intermediary variable, choose two families from the same ancestors for micro case contrasingt research, inspecting influence of the education expectation difference between academic achievement and their dimensions. The results showed that families with lower socioeconomic status, both can lead to poor children 's academic achievement and bring good academic achievement. Parents' education expectation have a positive role in children's academic growth.Low socioeconomic status families, can also bring mass social capital and cultural capital for their children through their own efforts. Of course, in addition to external instrumental purpose, parents should pay more attention to the intrinsic value of education expectation.
