The Romance of Three Kingdoms riches in cultural connotation of Confucianism. From the perspective of Chen Jiageng's researches on The Romance of Three Kingdoms, we can come to the conclusion that Confucianism of unity, people-oriented idea, moral standards, and ideal personality has exerted great influence on Mr. Chen Jiageng. Thus we can conduct a research indirectly on the forming and developing of patriotism of Mr. Chen Jiageng, which is conducive to the promoting and popularizing of national spirit centered on patriotism.
