东莞历史城区保存现状及保护对策

Present Situation and Preservation Strategies about the Historic Urban Areas of Dongguan

东莞莞城经历近十年大规模的旧城改造运动,其历史城区被进一步破坏,区内建筑遗产普查统计的结果显示,历史城区内并没有典型历史文化名城丰富、密集的建筑遗产遗存,但从肌理的图底关系分析,"图"的内容(建筑实体)虽然已被大量更新、改变,而作为"底"的纹路(道路、河道)却大致保留了历史特征,而硕果仅存的建筑遗产亦不乏精品,并具有鲜明的地域特点。近年东莞的政治、经济中心从莞城外移,在这样的大背景下莞城有必要认真对待自身无可替代的历史文化遗产资源,摒弃以往大拆大建的发展模式,以更为客观、务实的方式推动历史城区的保护与历史文化名城的可持续发展。

The historic urban areas of Dongguan(called Guancheng) had been serious damaged during the last decade. According to the survey data, there are not so many architectural heritage was left in the historic areas, but the historic texture of the city is remain complete. On the other hand, there are some architectural heritages which have a high-quality and most of them are full of regional characteristic. In recent years, the political and economic center of Dongguan were moved out from the historic areas, under this background, it is necessary for the local government to attaches great importance to its irreplaceable historical heritage resources, abandon the previous model and take a practical way to promote the preservation and the sustainable development of the historical city.
