Yangshi Lei is a famous royal architect family in Qing dynasty. This paper outlines the achievements of Yangshi Lei, and introduces the career of Lei Tingchang who is the seventh generation of Yangshi Lei in details. Yangshi Lei's historical materials with drawings and files have tremendous value in the aspects of history and scientific culture. They are the most important references and evidences of restoring or rebuilding royal architecture.
