从世界自然遗产"澄江化石地"的保护和开发现状出发,结合澄江化石地的普遍性和特殊性,科学分析了澄江化石地在保护和开发方面的优点和不足,强调了澄江世界自然遗产地特有的保护与可持续发展模式:依据"保护优先、加强管理、合理利用"的原则,立足于科学,在遗产地采取生态治理、基础设施建设、制定法律、规范管理和发展文化旅游业等措施。同时指出,需建立或采取诸如世界遗产公约长效机制、引进来与走出去相结合的国内外合作交流体系和区域综合治理开发等可持续发展性措施,以适应时代快速变迁、全球化进程加快等带来的机遇与挑战,真正实现澄江化石地的保护与可持续发展。

The paper analysis scientifically the advantages and disadvantages of protection and exploration of Chengjiang fossils from the universality and particularity aspects of world natural heritage and indicates a peculiar protection and sustainable development mode. According to the policy of 'protection goes first, strengthen management, use reasonably', we take measures as ecological governance, infrastructure construction, law formulation, management standardization and cultural tourism development. It is pointed out that we should set up long-term effective mechanism, interact with overseas system and take regional sustainable development measures to face the opportunities and challenges bring by the fast changing of the era and realize protection of sustainable development of Chengjiang fossils.
