中国古代冠礼的文化内涵及其当代意义

The Cultural Connotation of the Capping Ceremony in Ancient Chinese and Its Contemporary Significance-from the Perspective of the Bodylore

文章从身体民俗视角出发,通过对古今成人仪式的对比,认为注重身体实践性和身心体验是古代冠礼的突出特征。冠礼构建出一套符合社会主流价值观念的象征话语体系,并通过仪式的操演,实现对受礼者的身体规训。相较之下,当代成人仪式的建构恰恰缺乏对仪式主体的关照,缺乏主体的身体体验,导致仪式效果差强人意。因此,有必要提升仪式主体的身体实践,增强其心理认同和文化认同,加深仪式对个体生命的影响。

In this paper, it is shown that paying attention to body practice and mind experience is the prominent characteristic of ancient capping ceremony from the perspective of bodylore. The capping ceremony constructs a set of symbolic discourse of social mainstream values to discipline the body through the ritual exercise. In contrast, the construction of contemporary adult rituals is lack of attention to the ritual subjects of the ceremony, the lack of the main body experience, resulting in unsatisfactory ritual effect. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance the physical practice of ritual subjects, enhance their psychological identity and cultural identity, and deepen the ritual impact on individual life.
