Problem Analysis of and Textual Research on the Imperial Mandate of Qiu Tiansheng's Four Generations as First-rank Court Officials

福建省泉州石狮市东埔村邱氏宗族向中国闽台缘博物馆捐赠了一套"清康熙三十六年七月十九日敕封邱天胜及上三代为一品诰命",下文简称"四世一品"诰命。这套诰命质地柔软、织物组织紧凑、纹样细腻,织造工艺高超,但经长期自然和人为因素影响,诰命残缺、破洞、文字缺失、皱褶、破裂、脱丝、污渍、褪色,保存状况令人堪忧。文章通过对诰命的质地、织物组织结构、纹样形态等进行科学的分析检测,比对同时期诰命,考证出其原有形制,拟定合理的保护修复技术路线,为实施保护修复及复制工作提供依据。

This paper focuses on the study of the imperial mandate of Qiu Tiansheng's four generations as first-rank court officials. The scroll has soft texture, compact structure and fine dermatoglyphic pattern. However, through the years, due to natural or human causes, the scroll has some problems, such as imcompleteness, holes, gauffers, stains, color-fading, etc. It's in a worrisome conservation situation. This study will do a textual research on the scroll's original form by analyzing its texture, textile structure, dermatoglyhpic pattern, etc. and comparing it to other contemporary mandates, so as to propose a plausible repairing and preserving plan.
