作为中国近邻之中最大也是发展最快的经济体,印度对"一带一路"倡议表现出极大的兴趣。本文将主要探索能够决定印度选择性参与"一带一路"倡议的不同走廊与合作机构的现实基础,包括印度参与"一带一路"倡议背后的触发因素和动机,印度参与"一带一路"各种经济走廊和合作机构的详细框架,"一带一路"倡议中哪些是印度持有保留意见的部分以及由此所引发的印度的焦虑,印度的各种互联互通倡议以及印度的关切。在此基础上进一步探讨中印两国如何合作才能更有效地实现对双方来说既高效而又颇具经济效益的结果。

India being the largest and fastest growing economy in China's immediate neighborhood has keen interest as also strong potential for cooperation in all these initiatives.It is with this aim of exploring synergies that this paper begins by examining the existing ground realities that determine the nature of India's selective participation in various corridors and agencies of BRI.It begins first by outlining triggers and motivations behind India's overall approach to BRI.Second section then provides a detailed outline on evolving contours of India's participation in various economic corridors and agencies of BRI.Third section examines segments of BRI that have enhanced India's reservations and are impacting India's participation in those segments outlined in section two where India has been an active participant from very beginning.The fourth section outlines various connectivity initiatives of India which are not intended to yet have come to be seen as parallel,and even as competitive to BRI.The concluding section outlines India's concerns primarily with an expectation from the Chinese officials and analysts to appreciate India's limitations as also address some of these to explore how these large emerging economies of China and India can both work tougher to achieved outcomes which are efficient,effective as also cost-effective for both sides.
