试论英语教学对学生跨文化交际能力的培养 被引量:2

摘要 通过问卷调查、课堂观察和访谈等方式对大学英语教学中的跨文化交际能力培养现状进行了调查研究。调查结果表明,目前的大学英语教学中文化含量严重不足,跨文化交际能力的培养尤为薄弱。因此,外语教师应提高自身文化素质,在教学中合理增加文化含量,使教学实践与理论研究紧密结合,以培养学生跨文化交际能力。 An investigation is made into the status quo of the development of students' intercultural communicative competency in English teaching through questionnaires, classroom observation and interviews. It shows that,in the present college English teaching in China, the part pertinent to the teaching of culture is awfully insufficient. More importantly, the development of intercultural communicative competence is regretfully neglected. It is suggested in this paper that the teachers should make efforts to improve their cultural qualities, and that a reasonable proportion of culture teaching should be allocated to English language teaching. In this case, the teaching practice and relevant theoretical study can be closely related to each other, so that the students' intercultural communicative competence can be developed.
