湿型砂用膨润土检测技术的评述(二)

Review of Testing Technique of Bentonite for Green Moulding Sand(Ⅱ)

膨润土的品质对铸件是否产生砂孔、夹砂等缺陷起关键的作用,对铸件的其他缺陷也有重要影响,因此应当重视膨润土的检测。本文对膨润土品质的常规检测技术提出补充和推荐意见。第二部分介绍膨润土热湿态黏结力的测定,膨润土膨胀性能的测定,膨润土热稳定性的测试以及膨润土活化是否过度的检验。

The quality of bentonite has a key effect on the formation of sa nd inclusion and scab,and also has important effect on the formation of some ot her defects of castings.Therefore the quality testing of bentonite should be at tached great importance.The paper presents some supplementary and recom-menda tory suggestions for the quality test technique of bentonite.In the second part of the paper,follow-ing testing items are described:hot-wet cohesiveness t est;expansion properties test;hot stability test and the inspection method to determine whether the activating treatment of bentonite is excessive.
