介绍了WLAN的概念, 由于WLAN相较有线网络具有安装便捷、使用灵活、经济节约、易于扩展等优点,其发展十分 迅速。WLAN在组网方式上有独立的WLAN和非独立的WLAN两种,目前遵循的协议规范有IEEE已经开发出的3种无线局域网 LAN802.11规范:802.11、802.11a、802.11b,在WLAN的安全性方面使用VPN。作为例子介绍了无线局域网(WLAN)在公司办公 室中的具体实现。

The concept of WLAN is introduced in the paper. Compared with wired net, WLAN has the advantages of convenient installation, flexible operation, economy and being easy to develop. It develops very quickly. In the light of organizing net, independent WLAN and dependent WLAN are employed. The standardization at present involves three kinds of wireless local nets LAN 802.11that has already been developed in IEEE: 802.11,802.11a and 802.11b. VPN is employed when safety is taken into consideration. An illustration is used to show the actual realization of WLAN in the office of a company.
