Since Macao's reunification with the motherland, the residents of Macao enjoy broad rights and freedoms, and a multi-level rights protection system based on the Basic Law, relevant international conventions and local laws of the Macao Special Administrative Region(SAR) has been established in Macao. The independent judicial system of the Macao SAR has provided reliable and effective judicial protection for the right relief of Macao residents.
