香港经济转型路径研究——基于空间经济学的视角

Research on the Economic Transformation of Hong Kong: From the Perspective of Spatial Economics

在"一带一路"和粤港澳大湾区建设不断推进的背景下,香港作为重要的一环,若要在其中发挥重要作用,首先要解决自身的发展问题。从目前香港经济发展面临的问题看,经济转型是关键所在。本文从空间经济学视角发现香港经济转型有明显的小经济体、时间换空间和区域产业链合作三个主要特点,并且指出目前香港经济转型主要面临经济腹地和劳动力两大困境,由此提出香港转型应强化和创新区域合作模式、探索内地与香港人口流动新机制以及强化特区政府作用的政策建议。

Hong Kong is set to play an important role in advancing the strategies of the'Belt and Road'and of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. But first of all, Hong Kong should address the problems about its development so that it can play its due role. Judging by the current status,economic transformation holds the key to the economic development problems in Hong Kong. From the perspective of space economics, this paper finds that there are three main features in Hong Kong’s economic transformation: the small economy, the'time for space'approach and industrial chain cooperation in the area. It also points out that Hong Kong’s current economic transformation faces two major plights, namely, the lack of economic hinterland and the inadequate labor supply. On this basis, it is suggested that the Hong Kong’s transformation should strengthen and innovate the regional cooperation model, explore the new mechanism of population flow between the mainland and Hong Kong, and strengthen the role of the SAR government.
