香港媒体业的数码发展之路

摘要 香港浸会大学新闻与社会研究所从市场用户、内容生产、商业运营、技术平台和社交平台五个方面,对87家香港媒体的数码发展状况进行了全面调查和分析。研究发现,香港媒体数码发展起步较早,并取得了初步成效。但是,香港传媒机构近年来在利用人工智能及大数据等新媒体技术上步伐缓慢,落后于内地及欧美传媒机构。未来香港媒体应加强与传媒院校的合作,加速拥抱智能科技。 The Institute for Journalism and Society of Hong Kong Baptist University conducted a survey on 87 media outlets in Hong Kong to find out how digital they were in five aspects:market users,content production,business operation,technology platforms and social media platforms.It was found that Hong Kong media industries started its digitalization process relatively early and made initial progress.However,it has slowed down in taking up new media technologies including artificial intelligence and big data in recent years,and was left behind by its counterparts in the US,Europe and Mainland.In the future,Hong Kong media should strengthen cooperation with colleges and universities specialized in media and communications and accelerate the application of smart technology.
