四氟乙烯-乙烯共聚物(ETFE)早在四十年代就有专利报道,但直至七十年代初期才商品化,并已发展为氟塑料的第三大品种。主要产品有美国杜邦公司的Tefzel,日本旭硝子公司的Aflon Cop,西德赫司特公司的Hostaflon和苏联的F-40等。我所在六十年代中期曾研制了Fs-40(ETFE二元共聚物),用作模压成型的耐辐照专用材料。七十年代中期又开展了共聚物结构改性和聚合方法的系统研究。本文以少量第三单体改性。
This paper described a newly-developed melt-processable fluoropolymer Fs-40 G thatcombines the excellent properties of PTFE with the versatile processability of PE. 1.The reactivity ratios of ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) copolymerization,as determinated by solution precipitation polymerization,are: at 40℃,γC_2F_4=0.022±0.016,γC_2H_4=0.156±0.001 at 70℃,γC_2F_4=0.055±0.020,γC_2H_4=0.197±0.001 2.The properties of ETFE copolymers depend on the E/TFE mole ratio.WhenThe E/TFE mole ratio is nearly equal to 1,T_m and T_c reach their maximum values.It is suggested that both the sequences-(-CF_2CF_2-)_n-and-(-CH_2CH_2-)_n-(n≥2) influencethe chain regularity. 3.Fs-40 G is a tricopolymer of ethylene,tetrafluoroethylene and minor thirdmonomer.We have developed Fs-40 G Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ,which can be processed easily byconventional techniques,such as extrusion,injection,molding and powder coating.
