Synthesis of some Flavorous Cyclic Ketal Compounds

Five new cyclic ketal perfume compounds were synthesized by means of the condensation of 6-methyl-5-heptene-2-one with 1,2-propandiol,1,3-propandiol,1,3-butandiol,2,3-butandiol,and glycerin,respectively.
