《说文解字》释义所见的非概念意义

Non-Conceptual Meaning in the Definitions of Shuowenjiezi

《说文解字》以六书为依据,对所收字通过分析字形进而解释字义。其所释之义从语义研究的角度来看,实为概念意义。对照概念意义标准,通检《说文解字》对字的释义,可见两大类,一类为绝大多数的与概念意义相关的释义,另一类所释为非概念意义。释义中所见的非概念意义涉及字数很少,其非概念意义的类型、成因及应释的概念意义等问题在历来研究中言之未详。对该部分字及其非概念释义进行整体研究,对《说文解字》的体例研究、许慎文字学思想研究、相关汉字字形研究等方面应该有所裨益。

Based on the theory of Liushu,Shuowenjiezi defined the selected characters,interpreting the conceptual meanings through the analysis of shapes of characters.According to the theory of conceptual meaning,two sorts ofdefinitions can be distinguished,namely,conceptual and non-conceptual meanings,and there is few study with respect to the latter sort.In this light,this paper proposes an analysis of the non-conceptual meaning in shuowenjiezi,which can benefit the study of the book’s style,the content of characters and the shapes of characters.
