Textual Research into the Travel Path and Times of “Silk”

文章比较'丝'在韩语、蒙古语和满语早期借词的读音来研究'丝'分布范围,并指出丝绸传播路线。地理分布说明中国的丝绸在汉代先传到蒙古、通古斯以后,再由这些地方经过新疆、波斯、阿拉伯,渡过地中海到希腊,最后传到欧洲各国。

This article explores the early form of 'Silk ' as well as its distribution in the Asian and European languages, based on the comparison of the loan words of ' silk' in Korean,Mongolian,and Manhu languages,which help us identify that the silk had passed through the southern part of Xinjiang Tianshan,via Persia,Arabia,Greece and Rome,then finally reached Europe in the Han Dynasty.
