The Construction of “NP de bei VP” and the Nominalization of “bei VP”

文章基于一定规模的含有'NP的被VP'的真实语料,考察分析了这种结构的构成及它们与一般'NP的VP'在结构和语义方面的异同。语料显示,'NP的被VP'在语篇或说话者的世界知识中通常有一个相应的表示被动事件的先行陈述;含'被VP'的指称形式有多种,'NP的被VP'是其中较为典型的一种形式。文章还分析了'被告、被叫、被试、被动、被迫'等不同于一般'被VP'的转指现象。

Focusing on the construction of'NP de bei VP'in the data retrieved from the Corpus at the Center for Chinese Linguistics PKU,this article analyzes its grammatical properties and its relations with the typical construction of'NP de VP'syntactically and semantically.The data show that a'NP de bei VP'normally has a corresponding preceding statement with a'bei VP'as the statement’s predicate in context.'NP de bei VP'is a typical construction among those formally diversified nominals with'bei VP's as their heads.Furthermore,the article discusses the expressions of'beigao','beijiao','beishi','beidong',and'beipo',which are different from the normal nominal structures of'bei VP',from the perspective of metonymy.
