助詞'也'産生於西周後期,普遍使用始于春秋後期;'也'主要表示判定,大多用在句末,少數用在句中;句末的'也'有結上、起下兩種不同的作用。
The auxiliary ye‘也’originated in the late West Zhou period,and was widely used after the late Spring-autumn period.Its main function is to express judgment.It was majorly put in the sentence-final position and could be used in other positions of a sentence in small numbers.The sentence-final particle ye had mainly two different functions,to conclude and to introduce.
