對上古漢語否定句裏代詞賓語位置的進一步討論

Further Observations on Preverbal of Object Pronoun in Negative Sentences in Archaic Chinese

本文進一步討論上古漢語否定句裏代詞賓語的位置。在考察甲骨文中'不'與'弗'在用法上的區分,推測'不-代詞賓語'出現在主語與動詞之間的句式應該看爲殷商時期以前賓語代詞做焦點的分裂句式。至於先秦文獻中否定句裏代詞賓語在分佈上所表示的差異,筆者認爲這主要是由主句與從句的兩種形式所引來的限制。

This paper discusses the position of pronominal object in Archaic Chinese.The difference between the use of bùand fúin the Shang Bone Inscriptions suggests that‘S bùpronoun VP’was,before the Shang period,a cleft focus construction which has been reanalyzed as a monoclausal sentence.As for the pre and postverbal distribution of the object pronoun in the pre-Qin documents,it reveals a difference of constraint on matrix and dependent clauses.
