表示'嘴'的詞語屬於人類語言的基本詞。本文研究閩東區方言的'嘴'義詞以及與此相關的'舌頭'義詞、'嘴唇'義詞、'鬍子'義詞和'牙齒'義詞。'嘴'義詞追溯到原始閩東方言的*t■ui 5,不明本字,所以寫作'TSHUI'。其他四個詞分别來自原始閩東區方言的'TSHUI舌'*■、'TSHUI皮'*■、'TSHUI鬚'*■和'(TSHUI)齒'*■,都用'TSHUI+X'形式。本文也是筆者正在編纂的《閩東區方言比較詞典——身體部位部分》的部分内容。
The word‘mouth’belongs to the basic vocabulary of human language.This article surveys this word and its related words in Eastern Min dialects.The word‘mouth’traces back to*■,which etymology is unknown and represented by‘TSHUI’in the article.Four related words‘tongue’,‘lip’,‘beard’and‘tooth’ trace back to‘TSHUI舌’*■,‘TSHUI皮’*■,‘TSHUI鬚’*■ and‘(TSHUI)齒’* ■respectively.These four words all use the‘TSHUI+X’structure.This article is also a part of Comparative Dictionary of Eastern Min Dialects:Human Body Parts,that the author is now compiling.
