The Comparison of Wang Wei's and Li Bai's Frontier Fortress Poems

通过从思想内容和艺术特点这两个角度比较分析王维李白边塞诗的异同。文章指出盛唐时代氛围的影响形成了王李二人边塞诗共有的昂扬乐观的思想基调和雄奇壮美的艺术特征;各自不同的政治遭遇和理想定位使二人边塞思想内容的发展变化各有特点;精神气质及文化学养的不同使王李二人在景物的描写、艺术手法的运用、体裁的选择上各有千秋。

This article showed the differences of the poems written by Wang and Li from the angles of ideological content and artistic features. High-spirited, optimistic thought and powerful, magnificent artistic features are shared in Wang's and Li's fontier fortress poems which are influenced by the atmosphere of flourishing Tang Dynasty. However, the respective political sufferences and social status result in their different poetical features such as ideological content and poetical development. Different spiritual mood and cultural accomplishment between them lead to the different depiction of natural scenery, adoption of artistic method and selection of literary types.
