唐玄奘译《缘起圣道经》之传译考

The History of Translation about The Truth of Dependent Origination Sutra

《开元释教录》第八卷有《缘起圣道经》,其主旨为佛陀坐在树下观十二因缘流转还灭之真谛之语,即其对于佛教核心教义"缘起说"的讲论。这部经通常被认为有三个译本,分别是吴月氏优婆塞支谦译《贝多树下思惟十二因缘经》(亦名《闻城十二因缘经》)、唐玄奘译《缘起圣道经》、北宋法贤译《佛说旧城喻经》。三个译本在佛经目录中多有记录,由于其内容涉及佛教思想层面,因此从其传译史中不仅能够考察到传译过程,也可以看出这一佛教核心思想的发展史,从侧面微观地映射出整个佛教思想史的动态。

The sixth volume of the Record of Sakyamuni's teachings compiled during the K'ai-yuan period contained the introduction of The Truth of Dependent Origination Sutra,the theme for the Buddha sitting under a tree view of essence of the twelve-linked causal formul,namely,the Buddhist doctrines'dependent origination'of speech. This is generally considered to have three versions translated by Zhi Qian,Xuanzhuang and Fa Xian. The three versions are recorded in the Buddhist sutra catalogues,due to its content relates to the Buddhism thought level,so the translation history can not only study to the translation process,can also be seen in the history of the development of the core thought of the Buddhism,the dynamic micro mirrors the history of Buddhist thought.
