档案元数据研究现状简析

在大数据时代的背景下,信息管理方式从过去的手工操作转换到人工智能,其中信息的收集、著录、储存、查找和记录都离不开'元数据'这一概念。元数据的应用不仅可以更好地管理庞大的数据资料,而且可以深化不同学科领域的研究。为了更好地开发利用作为人类珍贵历史材料的'档案'资料,档案学者们也将'元数据'的概念引入到档案的研究之中,运用'档案元数据'来挖掘与历史紧密联系的档案数据资料,通过元数据著录的方式编织一张纵横交错的数据资料网,以便将具有历史联系的档案资料全面地、清晰地、有条理地展现在读者面前,同时,也为研究者们提供一种深入探究社会历史问题的方略。本文通过分析国外档案元数据的研究进展、国内档案元数据的研究进展、档案元数据的研究发现和总结,来了解档案元数据现今的发展现状、研究重难点及未来的发展方向,以进一步建立档案数据库奠定基础。

In the era of big data,the processing of information is changed from the traditional manual operation to the advanced artificial intelligence.In the process,metadata acts as an indispensable role in the collection,recording,storage,and retrieval of information.Its application not only facilitates to manipulate a large volume of data but also helps different subjects go deeper.In order to make fuller use of archives as the precious history textbook of humans,archivists borrow the concept of metadata into the research of archive.Metadata,a tool with which is mainly used for data mining closely related to history,can weave a network of data that can unfold the comprehensive,clear,well-organized archival materials before readers.In the meanwhile,archival metadata acts as a key that opens up social historical issues.Therefore,through a detailed analysis of foreign and domestic research progresses and research findings of archival metadata,the current state,main points and development direction of archival metadata can be grasped in an effective manner,which will lay a solid foundation for archival database associated with history.
