This paper analyzes the typical fault of bell-less top equipment used in iron making blast furnace,it also describes in detail the improvement of the typical fault of bell-less top equipment by Sinosteel Xi’an.The improvement of bell-less top equipment has proven by production practice that technical performance of bell-less top has been attained to domestic leading level,which has created favorable conditions for stable blast furnace production of domestic steel companies.
