Paul John Eakin is renowned in China as one of the leading scholars in autobiography studies.His theories are applied by Chinese scholars to examining autobiography,autobiographical fiction,and novels,with focuses on such issues as identity,self,and narrative.Our editor made an email interview with him early this year on his long commitment in his research and his views on life writing.
