摘要
《林家次女》与《华女阿五》是两部20世纪初期华裔女性的自传,二书的作者都在美国度过成长时期。然而,由于彼此的家庭背景不同,他们长大后也有各不相同的面貌。本文探讨家庭传统、异国文化与跨国主体性之关系,并了解这些因素如何影响作者在自传写作中的认知。
Second Daughter of the Family and Fifth Chinese Daughter are two Chinese women’s autobiographies in the early twentieth century.Both of the authors grew up in the U.S..However,due to different family backgrounds,they had been brought up to be different persons.This paper discusses the relations among the family traditions,foreign culture and trans-border Subject,enabling us to realize how those elements exert impact on the author’s identity in autobiography writing.
