谢寿康在欧洲的活动,他的多种不同形式的作品所体现的中国传统文化同欧洲现代文明的融合,是他获得欧洲社会认可的根基。20世纪30年代,以他为核心形成了一个民国留法文人圈,他们不同于留法的那些勤工俭学人员,也不同于那些象征派诗人,他们对中国现代文学和中法文化交流产生了自己的影响。
