' Life Writing and Film Biography in the Trans-Cultural Context' was hosted at the Center for Life Writing,Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2016.This conference spanned two days and featured seven keynote speeches and twelve panel discussions.Experts and Scholars from all over the world have discussed the prosperous development of life writing and film biography in the trans-cultural context.This overview briefs on the background and theme of this conference,further interprets the academic prospect of life-writing studies under the interdisciplinary and trans-cultural circumstances,and then summarizes the representative speeches.
