2018 Life Writing Workshop:A Dialogue among the Biographer,the Scholar and the Reader:A Report

为了发展传记文化,提高传记写作和研究的水平,2018年12月22日至23日,上海交通大学传记中心和南京财经大学联合举办了第一届国际'传记工作坊:作者、学者和读者的对话'。来自中国和法国的传记家、学者和研究生五十多人参加了这次活动,14人做了大会发言,其中涉及传记写作的经验、传记史名著的当下意义、传记理论中的前沿问题以及各种传记文本的阅读与思考,对这些发言代表们进行了热烈的讨论,其中也有激烈而友好的交锋。

The first international 'Life Writing Workshop:A Dialogue among the Biographer,the Scholar and the Reader'was co-hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University Center for Life Writing and Nanjing University of Finance and Economics in Nanjing on Dec.22-23,2 for the purpose of promoting life writing culture and stimulating life writing practice and research.Over 50 biographers,scholars and postgraduates from China and France attended this event.Fourteen attendees addressed the workshop,covering a wide range of topics,including biographical writing experience,significance of classic biographical history,cutting-edge issues of biography theories,and reading and thoughts of a great variety of biographical texts.These issues excited energetic discussions and even heated but friendly disputes among the attendees.
