Thoughts on development of traditional Chinese medicine network pharmacology

Hopkins在2007年提出了网络药理学的概念。他指出,一些多成分、多靶点药物对于复杂疾病起到了很好的治疗效果,是对经典的'一药一靶'药物发现理念的有效补充,开发多成分、多靶点的药物,要用系统的思想、在网络的层面分析药物的作用机制。

Hopkins proposed the concept of network pharmacology in 2007.He pointed out that some multi-compo?nent and multi-target drugs had a good therapeutic effect on complex diseases,and were an effective supplement to the classic"one drug-one target"drug discovery concept.To develop multi-compo?nent and multi-target drugs,we should analyze the mechanism of action of drugs with systemic thinking and at the network level.The ideas and methods of network pharmacology were quickly accepted by TCM researchers and applied to the research of TCM pharmacology,which led to the emerging of a new research branch:TCM network pharmacology.
