运用文献法对排球运动文化的内涵、特征及排球文化在学校体育文化中的功能进行探讨.排球运动文化的内涵可分为排球物质文化、排球制度文化、排球精神文化三个结构层面;排球运动文化的特征有传承性、时代性、民族性和公平性;在学校体育文化中具有凝聚性、示范性、教育性、娱乐性的功能.
