Yulin feather painting is one of the three major schools of Chinese feather painting. It draws with feathers and has excellent techniques. It combines painting,paper-cut,embroidery,sculpture,calligraphy and other artistic techniques,and has its own style. From the perspective of art and folklore,this paper discusses the development history,technological characteristics,artistic expression and cultural connotation of Yulin feather painting,and reveals the deep reason and value of its artistic image being widely accepted by the society.
