清代广西玉林地区妈祖庙的地理分布探析

An Analysis of the Geographical Distribution of Mazu Temple in Yulin District of Guangxi in the Qing Dynasty

清代玉林地区妈祖庙共有8座,与广西各地妈祖庙的分布具有相同规律,主要分布在水陆交通便利的城镇或圩镇,并且多数位于江河旁边,体现了妈祖信仰与南流江航运的密切关系。一是妈祖庙与粤商具有天然联系。二是南流江——北流江作为古代海上丝绸之路的有机组成部分,成为粤商西进的重要路径。三是妈祖神在传播过程中实现了从海神、水神到商业神的神格演变。

There are 8 Mazu Temples in Yulin area in the Qing Dynasty,which have the same pattern as the distribution of Mazu Temples in Guangxi.They are mainly distributed in towns with convenient water and land transportation,and most of them are located next to rivers,reflecting the close relationship between Mazu belief and Nanliujiang shipping.First,the Mazu Temple has a natural connection with the Cantonese merchants.Second,the Nanliu River—the Beiliu River,as an organic part of the ancient Maritime Silk Road,has become an important path for Guangdong merchants to advance westward.Third,Mazu God realized the evolution of the gods from Poseidon,Water God to the commercial god in the process of communication.
