从《世界尽头与冷酷仙境》开始,到《奇鸟行状录》第三部、《海边的卡夫卡》,还有《1Q84》,其结构编排都是两个或以上的故事交替进行的,这是很有村上特色的手法。比如《世界尽头与冷酷仙境》由'世界尽头'篇与'冷酷仙境'篇构成,两者在细致的遣词造句、故事情节的节奏呼应方面有所关联,但在具体的意义、内容方面则基本互不相干。这是一种象征手法,象征着在内外之分消亡后的全球化世界,我们与世界上的他者既有关联又无关联。这种结构打开了作品世界面向种解读的大门。

From The End of the World and the Cold Wonderland,to the third volume of The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle,Kafka on the Shore,and 1 Q84,the structure of the story is arranged alternately by two or more stories,which is a unique method of Murakami.For example,'The End of the World and the Cold Wonderland'is composed of'The End of the World'and'The Cold Wonderland',which are related to meticulous words and sentences,and the rhythmic echo of the story plot,but are basically irrelevant in terms of concrete meaning and content.This is a symbolic device,which symbolizes the globalized world after the extinction of the distinction between inside and outside.We are both related and unrelated to the others in the world.This kind of structure opens the door to various interpretations of the works.
