基于复合语料库的汉语语篇组织方式英化研究

A composite corpus-based study of anglicization of textual organization of Chinese

本研究从英汉翻译文本和汉语原创文本中的话语标记分析入手,研究英语对汉语语篇组织方式的影响。研究采用语料库方法,语料选自财经和科普领域。首先对两个英汉翻译平行语料库(时间跨度分别为2001—2002年和2015—2016年)进行历时对比分析,在此基础上与自建当代汉语原创文本语料库(时间跨度为2015—2016年)进行比较,考察汉语原创文本与不同时段的汉语译文之间在语篇组织方式方面的异同。研究表明:汉语译文的语篇组织方式经历了从本族语特征显著到基本顺应源语的过程,汉语原创文本也开始显示出由因果推理的归纳性趋于细节分析的演绎性的特征。本族语言与英语之间形合与意合的界线开始变得模糊,汉语思维方式正在向逻辑分析发展。

Much research into contrastive studies has revealed that textual differences are built up upon cultural conventions and thought patterns in their respective discourse communities.Contrastive rhetoric moved its subject matter beyond exclusive limit at sentence level to an exploration of macro structure of text.To put it neatly,the sequences by which a set of information are organized.To illustrate whether extensive exposure to English,especially from the process of translation,changes established textual structure of Chinese.On the basis of parallel corpora as well as a comparable one,discourse markers are compared between these two languages.Translation texts from English to Chinese between the year of 2000—2001 and of 2015—2016 were compared to see diachronic transformation of textual structure of translational Chinese by the impact of its source language;secondly,comparable corpus was analyzed to reveal the trend of Anglicization of original Chinese from the perspective of translation process.The results indicate that the discourse markers in translational Chinese have developed to follow those features that are distinct in English.Original Chinese exhibts some newly-developed deductive characteristics previously identified in translational Chinese.Moreover,it seems that the boundary between hypotaxis and parataxis is blurring,as discourse markers adopted are both high in frequency and qualified with cohesive function.
